Fruit Salad! Such a refreshing recipe. We have a few warm days and I’m already craving fruit and looking forward to the summer. Seth and I were off today and out doing some yardwork. We’re expecting rain this evening and tomorrow, but this morning and afternoon were absolutely perfect. We had a beautiful day. I made a similar recipe when I began my blogging journey in 2015. Just Fruit. Salad. This variation today has green flesh honeydew and I forgot the peaches. Initially, I wanted to recreate my original recipe, but that is the beauty of creating and cooking. You can mix, match, and adjust.

This fruit has no additions – just fruit. No added sugar or syrups. I put this fruit salad together a couple of days ago and enjoyed it today on top of waffles. Fruit is great for breakfast or as a snack or dessert. I hope you try this colorful, classic, throwback. Enjoy!

Mangoes!

I don’t know what it is about mangoes. But, after cutting them up – I always feel so animalistic and primitive sucking on the pit. There is so much flesh still on there. For another mango recipe, try this Mango Chia Smoothie Bowl.

Honeydew

The first time I posted my Just Fruit. Salad recipe, I made it using orange flesh Honeydew. This type has a slightly sweeter taste. Of course the orange color is brighter, resembling a cantaloupe. For this current recipe, I used green flesh honeydew, which has more of a cucumber or apple taste, very subtle. Honeydew is great for you skin health and hydration.

Antioxidants and Fiber – Blackberries, Raspberries, Strawberries, and Kiwi

I chose berries in this recipe for their rich antioxidant properties. They are packed with Vitamins C, K, E, and potassium. Much like the honeydew – berries and kiwi are great sources of fiber. Kiwi are supports digestion and can reduce blood pressure. Boost your immune system, help your skin glow, and improve your digestive system. All with fruit.
